One place, so many stories.
Designed by Giovan Battista Santangelo, it opened as Cinema Massimo in 1924. After decades of film and variety entertainment, it closed in 1977. Following restoration, it reopened as Teatro al Massimo on 20 November 1992 with a show by Gigi Proietti.
